How my journey began

Perfection is overrated - real growth happens in the mess

Hi there, and welcome to Your Balanced Journey.

I’m Nadine Hanna.

I have always felt different from my friends and the people around me.
I couldn’t figure out what it was that made feel different though.
Things that came so easy for others, was a real struggle for me.
Sometimes I thought it was my being a daughter of immigrants, but then I realized that other children of immigrants didn’t struggle like I did.

The feeling of being different and standing out from my peers, sparked an early interest in people’s differences and similarities. I tried to understand what makes us who we are; what unites us and what divides us.

In april of 2023, everything changed when I got burned out and hit my rock bottom. I struggled long and hard to find a path forward; from feeling on top of the world to seeing myself as fraud, a total failure and a disappointment.

Almost a year after my burnout, everything changed again. I was diagnosed with ADHD, at the age of 40.
That is when all of the peices of the puzzle started to come together. The biggest missing piece of my life puzzle was ADHD.

Since being burned out and being diagnosed with ADHD, it has been a real journey for me to get to where I am today.
I am at a point where I accept all of me, where I am kind to myself and where I talk to myself like I would talk to my children, with love and empathy.

I am a new version of me today that I had never imagined I was able to become, but through a lot of help from amazing people around me, professionals and mentors, I managed to bring out what I already had deep inside of me and I made it a natural part of me.

Through this experience I have found a purpose and a meaning. I feel that all that has happened in my life has helped me reach this point, where I want to support and guide you, a woman who recognizes herself in my journey and.

I am paying forward what I received through my journey from burnout to the person I am today.

I want to be the person who empowers you, creates a safe space for you to let go of, and release your old beliefs that were holding you back, in order to make room for new ones that will help you become who you really want to be.

Best regards,

Nadine Hanna
